Description

Performance management is the ongoing work of setting expectations and checking progress against them. This course treats it as a cycle rather than an annual event. It starts with the three stages of that cycle and how to run a review that no one is surprised by. Later lessons cover continuous feedback, what to do when someone is underperforming, how to write a performance improvement plan, and how to keep your best people from getting bored. A final lesson is about managing other managers.

Each lesson opens with a video, then works through the material with flip cards and sorting activities. The improvement plan lesson includes sample wording for each section.
