Description

A new team does not work well together right away, and this course explains why. It walks through Tuckman’s four stages. In forming, members are polite and uncertain and need clarity from you. In storming, familiarity brings conflict and the team needs a facilitator. In norming, shared rules and systems take hold. In performing, the team meets its goals with little direction. Each lesson lists what defines the stage and what a manager should do during it.

The course is short. A video introduces the model and each stage gets its own lesson. A sorting activity at the end asks you to match behaviors to stages.
